Team

A German-South African consortium

Two research institutes and five companies from Germany, together with 7 partners from South Africa, will develop a new concept for water and energy management in structurally weak rural and/or densely populated areas in developing and emerging countries.

The part of RSA is financed by the Department of Science and Technology.

Official opening ceremony

The Multipurpose center was officially opened by the major of Ndlambe municipality Cllr. KC Ncamiso and Dr. Löwe from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Resaerch (BMBF).

Aptitute for Learning-by-doing campaign started

In this stage of project we are busy managing recruitment of people who to become involved in this important and challenging educational process. This was recently started by Prof. Sijekula Mbanga and his team of Nelson Mandela University. read more

MPC building and EcoSUN typical technologies of German origin under construction

After some delay due to COVID-19 pandemia the construction of the Multipurpose Centre is progressing and will be finished soon. Recently solar panels were established by SOLIEN company on the roof that will supply the whole system with power at 10 kW. read more
