MARKERT Biogas
| The Engineering Offices Dr. Markert has been working successfully in the fields of biogas and energy technologies for more than 23 years. The key activities of the office are the development, planning, construction management and commissioning of biogas plants with electrical capacities from 75 up to 2.500 kW, for agriculture and sanitation usages. The total capacity of biogas plants already installed by Markert Offices is 31.1 MW in 68 plants worldwide. |

Dr. Markert Offices have been involved in several research activities, such as substrate gas potential studies, application and durability of wood constructions, and digestibility of substrates from environmental protection activities. Furthermore, Dr. Markert is developing and planning regional energy concepts of urban and rural Municipalities. In RSA, Dr. Markert Offices, on behalf of the National Department of Public Works, prepared a feasibility study and researched into usage options of substrates for the Groenpunt prison complex. |
